THANKS FOR YOUR HONESTY

Dear Joe:

I'm from Russia my husband is American. I've been in this country for four years and recently received my permanent residency. Your are the first journalist in America who dares to ask the hard and honest questions of the US politicians. In your interviews Thursday night, these politicians were not capable of giving honest opinions or answers. These politicians are so focused on their political careers and so far out of touch with the American people that they have lost touch of reality. As usual, their responses were "STANDARD BUREAUCRATIC and TOWING THE COMPANY LINE" rhetoric politically motivated and so far from the truth it was appalling.

GREAT THANKS to you from our hearts for your directness and honesty in attempting to discuss the real issues regarding the Katrina catastrophe.

We are sure millions of Americans are equally upset with the lack of an effective, timely and sincere response to this national catastrophe by the state and federal government. This lack of response by the government certainly does show the American people that there is no Homeland Security or strategic plan in place to handle a real national crisis whether is terrorist based or a natural disaster. We have been duped into believing the federal government had been preparing strategic plans for a national crisis, boy, did they fool us. We thank God we do not live in the Gulf coast area waiting for the federal government to "RESCUE" us. It can be a real killer.

WAKE UP AMERICA. IT'S TIME TO REPLACE THE USELESS BUREAUCRATS FROM POSITIONS OF AUTHORITY.

Keep asking the direct questions. Good luck to you.

Sincerely,
David and Nadia Keithley
